This sushi place is located inside the met center in Sydney CBD. The counter for take away food has a moderate height . The seating area for dine it caters for an accessible device to park and set at any of the tables. However reaching the food might be a challenge. 

Parking and drop off are challenging since the complex center is in the middle of the city. 
However, the tram line stops right in front of the george street entrance.

Restroom are located in the complex are they have spacious accessible toilets. If they are not open, you can ask for the key by knocking the door right in front of the toilets or by calling the provided number on that area.

SUSHI NAYA

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Urban Orchard is an accessible health food outlet. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Urban Orchard has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities. Designated parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark.

MOS is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free entry into the museum from the street and forecourt. Collect the Visitors Guide which shows the location of the lift, toilet and AGL Theatre. The MOS Café is located on site and seating spills out onto the Forecourt. The MOS Shop is adjacent to the entry reception area. There is no onsite parking or drop off area. The nearest commercial car spaces are expensive alternatives, include the Governor Phillip Tower basement car park (next door), The Intercontinental Hotel (across the road) or The Opera House car park.

Museum Of Sydney

A spectacular semi open-air bar, cafe, and restaurant, with one of the best views in Sydney - right on the waterside with a perfect view of the Harbour bridge!

Part of the Sydney Opera House complex, it’s reachable in three main ways; either by strolling along Circular Quay (there is an entrance ramp directly alongside the water) or from the main parking for the Opera House, or from the Opera House directly (take the main lift to the lower ground floor).

The space is partially indoor and outdoor, there are many outdoor tables that are accessible with plenty of space between chairs to manoeuvre, but some areas (a few outdoor tables up steps) are inaccessible.

Those people in wheelchairs might want to avoid going here at peak times (eg Friday evenings; particularly sunny ones) because it gets very full.

There are well maintained accessible toilets at the Opera bar itself and in the Opera Kitchen and Opera House, both very nearby.

Opera Bar

The Blue Bar at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney is  a cocktail bar located on the 36th floor and offers stunning views of the city and harbor. 

The Shangri-La building provides accessible features, including ramps and elevators, to accommodate guests with mobility needs. You can access the Blue Bar through the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel which is step-free. Elevators directly connect to the higher floors where the bar is located. The space is restricted, however, the staff are able to allocate tables to ensure enough room for wheelchair users.

The hotel is located near Circular Quay and Wynyard train stations, both of which are accessible via wheelchair and other mobility aids. Taxis and rideshare services can also drop off directly at the hotel entrance in a secured way. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark around 100 meters away.

Accessible toilets are of easy access throughout the building. You can find one accessible toilet on level 36th.

Circular Quay, Wharf 5 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

The Calyx is an accessible exhibit located in the Botanic Gardens. The venue was built around the site of the Arc Glasshouse, in the south western corner of the garden. Intelligent, sensitive architecture has replaced the Tropical Centre pyramid and foyer.
The Calyx is an integrated mix of indoor and outdoor areas, with the exhibitions changing on a regular basis, reinventing itself through emotively themed exhibitions. There is step-free access into and throughout the building. There is a small cafe located in The Calyx, but there are no accessible toilets. Accessible parking bays are provided near the Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.

Located on Pitt Street, Alpha Gourmet Cafe is inaccessible for wheelchair users. The entrance to the venue isn’t step-free and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry. There are also no outside tables.

The Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House is on the first floor. It is approached through the main lift entrance underneath the Monumental Steps (you will need to go through a security check). If you are coming from the lower ground level (with many bars and the car park), you take the same lift (once past security) to the first floor.

On the first floor, you turn right out of the main lift towards the main box office area. Here you will normally be greeted by an usher who will escort you down a corridor to another lift which takes you up another level to the main Concert Hall bar area.

Along the route, down this corridor, are two accessible toilets (with automatic doors).

When you arrive by lift up at the main bar area, it is a short distance, turning left to the wheelchair spaces at door 11 in the stalls, or a much longer distance, to the other side of the theatre to door 4 (if you want to make a quick exit after your show, it is definitely advisable to ask for door 11 spaces when booking).

If you are in the circle, you need to turn left out of the lift and continue straight on until you reach another lift to take you up another level (an usher will direct you because it can be confusing if crowded). There are more accessible toilets at the circle level.

Accessible unisex toilet (or disabled toilet) on the lower floor of the arcade. Entrance from Kendall lane (this lane has cobbles), an easier less cobbled entrance can be found by entering the arcade from Argyle St. Automatic sliding door, plenty of room and clean.

Kansas City Shuffle is an accessible cafe and restaurant located on Gloucester Street. There is a platform lift at the back of the restaurant which takes you up to the raised dining area. There is an accessible takeaway kiosk located next to the venue’s street entrance. Not all tables inside are accessible and the space is restricted but the tables can be allocated to ensure more room to maneuver. However there are a few outside tables available.

Royal Botanic Gardens is an accessible park and garden. There is step-free access via the Art Gallery Road and Circular Quay entrances. The accessible entrances are Morshead Gate, Victoria Lodge Gate, Yurong Gate, Opera House Gate (via Sydney Opera House forecourt), Queen Elizabeth II Gate (via Sydney Opera House forecourt), Conservatorium Gate and Government House Gate.
If you're visiting The Calyx, the nearest accessible gates are Woolloomooloo Gate or Government House Gate. Parts of the gardens may be inaccessible due to sets of stairs. The Botanic Garden provides several accessible cafes and restaurants. Accessible toilets can be found in Palm Grove Centre, the Mare and Foal Lawn near Farm Cove and in the Calyx.

Located on Harrington Street, the wheelchair access is about 10m down the road towards the Argyle. There is a little ramp but if a car is parked in front it is not accessible off the road. 

The hotel is accessible to wheelchair users. There is one designated accessible room, Heritage Queen room, which is located on the lobby level of the hotel and is fully accessible with roll in showers. However, the hotel’s restaurant is located down a flight of steps and is therefore inaccessible. But the hotel is surrounded by plenty of accessible cafes and restaurants.

Harbour Rocks Hotel

Located on Alfred Street in the heart of Circular Quay within the Gateway Building on the ground floor of the café court. Bekya Gateway is your go-to destination for authentic middle eastern cuisine offering a unique Egyptian street food experience. Expect to indulge in a selection of wraps using homemade Egyptian flat breads, lunch boxes with your choice of protein, salad, rice and dips and our signature dish; Koshari’.
Bekya is accessible. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Most tables are accessible, but benches prevent wheelchair access to some. While there are no toilets in the restaurant, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.

This hotel is accessible to wheelchair users, although it is a little awkward, being in an older building.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath. 

There is step-free access into the hotel and throughout. The hotel offers two Queen rooms which are designated accessible. Both feature a roll-in shower with hand rails. You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Rydges Sydney Harbour

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

The Russell Hotel

The Rocks, located next to Circular Quay in Sydney, is a historic precinct that is generally accessible for wheelchair users, though some areas have uneven cobblestone paths and slopes due to its heritage layout. Visitors can reach The Rocks easily by train, bus, ferry, or light rail, with Circular Quay Station offering lifts and step-free access. Accessible parking is available at nearby Wilson car parks on Harrington Street and George Street, along with designated mobility spaces on local streets. The Sydney Visitor Centre and most public areas offer accessible toilets, and some buildings include lifts or ramps to assist with level changes. While most main routes are accessible, it’s best to plan ahead using the official Rocks accessibility map to avoid steep or uneven sections.

Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street or the Enacon carpark on 117 Macquarie Street.

Alleyway is a small workers’ bar located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. You’ll find it next to the Salesforce precinct, on the lower ground floor of 180 George Street. It’s a hidden gem, as you need to go down one level from street level to spot it.

To get there, look to the right for the staircase and take the lift down one level. Turn left, and the very first place you’ll see is Alleyway. The toilets are right next to the lift—please ask the friendly staff for assistance; they’re always happy to help!

The venue is on a flat level and has enough space to accommodate any mobility device. The tables are a little close together, but the staff are always willing to assist to ensure you have a comfortable experience. We highly recommend arriving by tram (between Circular Quay and Wynyard tram stations) or from Circular Quay if you plan to stay in the area.

Alleyway

Wide sliding doorway, easily accessible through a wide well-paved and flat lane way very near the Museum of Contemporary Art. One of the best accessible toilets and parents rooms in The Rocks area just off George Street. Clean and well maintained.

Altitude Restaurant

A large restaurant upstairs in the centre of The Rocks area, great to visit with the whole family, very kid friendly too. Yummy pancakes, pizzas, some salads and it’s fully licensed - something for everyone. Caters easily for large family groups. 

There is a lift to go up to the first floor coming off Playfair street, next to the steps leading to the front door. Although the restaurant is quite roomy with wide aisles to get to all the seats, around half the tables are booth seats, so you may need to book ahead to get one of the open tables with chairs that you can move aside if need be. 

Parking in nearby Argyle Street, and the nearest accessible parking is on street outside 107 George Street, around 80meters away.

Mode Kitchen & Bar

The Joan Sutherland Theatre of the Sydney Opera House is on the first floor. It is approached through the main lift entrance underneath the Monumental Steps (you will need to go through a security check). If you are coming from the lower ground level (with many bars and the car park), you take the same lift (once past security) to the first floor.

On the first floor, you turn right out of the main lift towards the main box office area. Here you will normally be greeted by an usher who will escort you towards a glass lift beyond the main steps up to the bar area.

Before taking the lift, you may want to use one of the two accessible toilets (with automatic doors) on this level. They are situated along the corridor to the Concert Hall (and your usher will show you).

When you arrive by lift up at the main bar area, it is a short distance, turning left to the wheelchair spaces at door 26 in the stalls, or a much longer distance, to the other side of the theatre to door 21 (if you want to make a quick exit after your show, it is definitely advisable to ask for door 26 spaces when booking).

Sydney Opera House, Joan Sutherland Theatre

The Rocks Café is an accessible venue. There is step-free access into the venue, leading to a seating area and the counter. There are also a number of accessible tables outside the cafe, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. However accessible toilets and parking spots can be found in the nearby Rocks shopping center.

Lotus Dumpling Bar is an accessible restaurant serving up pan-Asian cuisine and cocktails in Dawes Point. There is step-free entry into the venue but space is tight and some tables inside and outside may be inaccessible especially at peak times. There is also a small seating area outside Lotus and no accessible toilet.
There are also plenty of accessible public carparks nearby.

Located on Pitt Street the venue is an accessible bar and restaurant. There is a ramp just at the entrance to aid entry. There are some accessible tables outside the venue. There is also an accessible toilet.

The Ship Inn

Settlement on Quay is an accessible cafe. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible seating inside and a handful of accessible tables outside. Some tables are inaccessible due to their height but most of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users. There are no toilets in Settlement on Quay.

Silvester’s is an accessible fine dining restaurant in the Sydney Marriott Harbour hotel. Lifts provide access from the hotel lobby to the restaurant, and they also take you to the accessible unisex toilets on level two. The space inside is restricted but staff will make sure you have a table that is easy to get to.
