Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Urban Orchard is an accessible health food outlet. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Urban Orchard has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities. Designated parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark.

Located on the promenade leading towards Sydney Opera House, this is a wheelchair friendly cinema. All theatres are wheelchair accessible. 

A dedicated wheelchair space can be found at the back of each theatre. These are unfortunately not shown on the online booking form on their website. To book the accessible seat you’ll need to call the United Cinemas main number ‭02 9970 2626‬.

There is a lift beside the candy bar to each theatre level.

Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is accessible to wheelchair users. It is an exclusively open-air restaurant so finding a table to get to in a wheelchair should not be a problem,  despite the fact that spacing between tables is tight and some may be inaccessible at peak times. But just inform the staff about your visit so they can arrange a special table. There is no accessible toilet on site.

MOS is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free entry into the museum from the street and forecourt. Collect the Visitors Guide which shows the location of the lift, toilet and AGL Theatre. The MOS Café is located on site and seating spills out onto the Forecourt. The MOS Shop is adjacent to the entry reception area. There is no onsite parking or drop off area. The nearest commercial car spaces are expensive alternatives, include the Governor Phillip Tower basement car park (next door), The Intercontinental Hotel (across the road) or The Opera House car park.

The majority of the outlet’s seating area is accessible to wheelchair users. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.

Part of the Sydney Opera House complex, it’s reachable in three main ways; either by strolling along Circular Quay (there is an entrance ramp directly alongside the water) or from the main parking for the Opera House, or from the Opera House directly (take the main lift to the lower ground floor).

The space is partially indoor and outdoor, there are many outdoor tables that are accessible with plenty of space between chairs to manoeuvre, but some areas (a few outdoor tables up steps) are inaccessible.

Those people in wheelchairs might want to avoid going here at peak times (eg Friday evenings; particularly sunny ones) because it gets very full.

There are well maintained accessible toilets at the Opera bar itself and in the Opera Kitchen and Opera House, both very nearby.

Kansas City Shuffle is an accessible cafe and restaurant located on Gloucester Street. There is a platform lift at the back of the restaurant which takes you up to the raised dining area. There is an accessible takeaway kiosk located next to the venue’s street entrance. Not all tables inside are accessible and the space is restricted but the tables can be allocated to ensure more room to maneuver. However there are a few outside tables available.

Kansas City Shuffle

The Blue Bar at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney is  a cocktail bar located on the 36th floor and offers stunning views of the city and harbor. 

The Shangri-La building provides accessible features, including ramps and elevators, to accommodate guests with mobility needs. You can access the Blue Bar through the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel which is step-free. Elevators directly connect to the higher floors where the bar is located. The space is restricted, however, the staff are able to allocate tables to ensure enough room for wheelchair users.

The hotel is located near Circular Quay and Wynyard train stations, both of which are accessible via wheelchair and other mobility aids. Taxis and rideshare services can also drop off directly at the hotel entrance in a secured way. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark around 100 meters away.

Accessible toilets are of easy access throughout the building. You can find one accessible toilet on level 36th.

The Calyx is an accessible exhibit located in the Botanic Gardens. The venue was built around the site of the Arc Glasshouse, in the south western corner of the garden. Intelligent, sensitive architecture has replaced the Tropical Centre pyramid and foyer.
The Calyx is an integrated mix of indoor and outdoor areas, with the exhibitions changing on a regular basis, reinventing itself through emotively themed exhibitions. There is step-free access into and throughout the building. There is a small cafe located in The Calyx, but there are no accessible toilets. Accessible parking bays are provided near the Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.

This is a small playground but great for the local families in the area and a plus that it is enclosed.This playground issuitable for toddlers and younger children. It includes swings and climbing equipment but unfortunately no special equipment for wheelchair users. 
Trinity Avenue Playground is fully accessible as the terrain is hard and flat. There is step-free access into the playground and throughout. There are no accessible toilets located on site. There are no designated accessible parking spots but 2 hour parking on the steets nearby is possible.

There is step-free access into the side entrance of the restaurant, to the outdoor terrace and to the counter and indoor seating area. Grand Duk

Lotus Dumpling Bar is an accessible restaurant serving up pan-Asian cuisine and cocktails in Dawes Point. There is step-free entry into the venue but space is tight and some tables inside and outside may be inaccessible especially at peak times. There is also a small seating area outside Lotus and no accessible toilet.
There are also plenty of accessible public carparks nearby.

Eastbank Cafe is an accessible waterfront restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible indoor and outdoor seating. The space is in some parts restricted but the staff members will be happy to allocate the tables for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the premises. 
Designated parking spots can be found at the opera.

Eastbank

Located on Pitt Street the venue is an accessible bar and restaurant. There is a ramp just at the entrance to aid entry. There are some accessible tables outside the venue. There is also an accessible toilet.

The Ship Inn

Located in The Rocks Centre, The Fine Food Store is a cafe and restaurant serving home-made cusine. The venue is accessible to wheelchair users and offers step-free access into and throughout the venue. There is no accessible toilet in the cafe, but there are public facilities in The Rocks Centre. Outdoor and indoor seating is also accessible at The Fine Food Store.

The Fine Food Store

Situated in the Rocks, within walking distance from Sydney’s landmarks, on the first floor of the Clocktower shopping complex, Shiki Japanese Restaurant can be accessed via a lift in the adjoining car park. There is step-free access into and around the venue, which has an accessible toilet. Secure Wilson car parking is available at Clocktower Square’s basement.

Royal Copenhagen Ice Cream Cone Co is an accessible ice cream kiosk in Circular Quay. The counter is accessible by wheelchair, but the outlet is purely a takeaway kiosk and there is no seating area or toilets available.

Located in the Four Seasons hotel on George Street, Grain is an accessible spirits, cocktail bar and restaurant. Grain by Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, is all about the fine craft of drinking.
Step-free entry is gained via the hotel lobby. All parts of the restaurant are accessible and there are also designated unisex toilets on site. Outside tables are not available.

Hungry Jack's is a takeaway fast food outlet located in Circular Quay train station. There are accessible areas for ordering but not for eating in.  There are no toilets on site, but public facilities are available nearby. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Located in the shadow of the Sydney Opera House, the Opera Kitchen is an accessible restaurant and bar. Lifts at the Opera House itself provide access down to the venue, which has ramps throughout the premises to enable wheelchair access to all parts of the seating area. There are also unisex toilets.

Four Seasons is accessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has 4 specific wheelchair friendly rooms with roll-in showers, wall-mounted shower seats, grab bars in the bathrooms, low hanging space in the closet and an automated door, but you will need to specifically ask for an accessible room when making your booking. Each floor is accessible by lift.
There are plenty of accessible shops, Cafés and restaurants nearby. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark.

Four Seasons

Located on Harrington Street, the wheelchair access is about 10m down the road towards the Argyle. There is a little ramp but if a car is parked in front it is not accessible off the road. 

The hotel is accessible to wheelchair users. There is one designated accessible room, Heritage Queen room, which is located on the lobby level of the hotel and is fully accessible with roll in showers. However, the hotel’s restaurant is located down a flight of steps and is therefore inaccessible. But the hotel is surrounded by plenty of accessible cafes and restaurants. 
Designated parking spots can be found close to the hotel.

Harbour Rocks Hotel

This hotel is accessible to wheelchair users, although it is a little awkward, being in an older building.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath. 

There is step-free access into the hotel and throughout. The hotel offers two Queen rooms which are designated accessible. Both feature a roll-in shower with hand rails. You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Rydges Sydney Harbour

InterContinental is accessible to wheelchair users via its Macquarie Street entrance. There are lifts to every floor in the building. The hotel has 3 rooms with roll-in showers, but you will need to specifically ask for one when making your booking. There are plenty of accessible shops, Cafés and restaurants nearby. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark.

Intercontinental

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Every level of the hotel is accessible via wheelchair and there are unisex toilets throughout the building. The one bedroom Garden View Suite is the hotel’s only designated accessible suite and it features a roll-in shower, hand rails around the bathroom and plenty of space to maneuver in the room. Accessible toilet on level 2. 

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay may be accessible to some wheelchair users. There is no designated accessible room but there are rooms with roll in showers.
There is step-free access into and around the building - apart from the Fitness Centre, which is inaccessible. There are lifts to provide easy access to each floor. Around the hotel there are many accessible shops and cafes available. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is accessible.  The Mariott offers accessible rooms with wider doorways and roll-in showers. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel own carpark.

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

The Russell Hotel

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Hero Sushi Train is an accessible eatery. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Hero Sushi has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.
Accessible parking spots can be found in the shopping center.

Hero Sushi Train

Located in the Shangri-La Hotel on Cumberland Street, Altitude Restaurant is an accessible bistro serving modern Australian cuisine. A lift in the hotel lobby will take you up to the restaurant on the 36th floor. Some of the venue’s seating is restricted and this may mean some tables are inaccessible at peak times.  There are accessible toilets on site and designated parking spots can be found around 200 meters away in the Wilson carpark.

Altitude Restaurant

An accessible Cafe in the middle of the Botanic Gardens, underneath the (more expensive) Botanic Restaurant. 

The Botanic Gardens Café is set within lush garden surrounds and overhanging trees, overlooking the duck pond.

The café offers fresh light meals including gourmet sandwiches, salads, baked goods and great coffee.

Plenty of outdoor seating set in beautiful surrounding gardens. Also quite a lot of accessible indoor seating if it's bad weather.

Botanic Gardens Cafe

Located within the Gateway Building on Level 2, disabled access via lifts or elevators up to Level 2.

Salt Meats Cheese

A newly built accessible unisex toilet in the Gateway centre. Clean, roomy with a large turning circle inside. Long wide corridors to the doorway. Follow the toilet signs from next to Gozleme Co and it's off to the right side through the double doors (which are always open). Gateway is open 7am-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-11:30pm Sat/Sun.

Botanical Garden Accessible Toilets

Situated on the fourth  floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Yukis Japanese Restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users. There are two lifts next to the terminal entry which provide access onto the third floor. Turn left out of the lift and you’ll find a step-free entry into the restaurant. Space is tight between the indoor and outdoor tables, which may mean some are inaccessible. There is also an accessible toilet on site.

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.
