The swimming pool is a nice place to visit if you have club and gym membership. There are a couple of accessibility challenges, but we’ve managed to overcome them and swim there. The swimming pool on Level 3 is a reasonably warm 25m pool, 1.2m deep.
To get there, you can drive - there are 3 accessible parks in the car park. All 3 parks are extremely tight and are often in use. You can also travel via light rail or bus.
Access The Juniors via ANZAC Pde, or from car park. From ANZAC pde, there is a sliding door to the right of the main entrance which is easier for wheelchair users.
The lift to the pool is behind reception. Access from the car park is trickier, but manageable - from the car park, if you get in the car park lift, you will find a set of stairs and a wheelchair lift at the top which has not been in working order for at least 2 years (reception do not know how to operate it). There is a button to call reception and they will come and open the door for you after a couple of minutes.
On level 3, entry to the pool is to the left of the gym through a heavy door. There is a ramp to get up to the pool level. The pool has an accessible bathroom and shower, but the door is heavy. The pool has a hoist. The Juniors also has a reasonable Yum Cha restaurant on level 3, although it is easier to access from the lift inside the pokie room, as the halls from the pool to the restaurant are quite narrow. Most areas accessible
